care of you and your site. We put you on top notch servers with
excellent connectivity, and we back you up with the kind of
support and service that we'd expect ourselves. We own our servers
and switching equipment outright which gives us far higher quality
control than most other hosts and allows us to deliver exceptional
stability and uptime.

How
soon can you get me up and running? Top
New accounts are set up very quickly - usually in 3-4 hours
and at most within 24 hours. Propagation of nameserver changes
for your domain can take 24-48 hours, however you will still
be able to upload your files via FTP during this period.

Will I have access
to update my site 24 hours a day? Top
Yes. Your site can be updated at any hour of the day or night.

Can I upgrade my plan
at a later date? Top
Yes, and there is no setup fee for upgrading either.

What happens if I go over my data
transfer allowance? Top
You will be notified once you reach 80% of your allowance at
which point you can choose to upgrade plans or purchase additional
transfer. Additional transfer can be added to your account and
is charged at $1.00 per GB. Should you choose neither of these
options and actually exceed your limit, your account will be
suspended until such time as you make the necessary arrangements
with us.

What is the cost for additional
features? Top

Can you register a domain name for
me? Can you host domains other than .com .net and .org?
Top
We can register .com .net .org .biz and .info names for you
at $8.95 per year when you place your order, or if you would
like to register them yourself you can do so through our sister
company NameAlerts, LLC. We can host pretty much any domain
name as long as you can point it to our nameservers.

Why don't you offer bigger discounts
for quarterly or annual payment? Top
We use a state-of-the-art billing solution which automates the
whole process, therefore there is very little time saving for
us on quarterly or annual payments. Because of this automation
we are able to offer virtually the same exceptionally competitive
rates to all of our customers regardless of billing cycle, however
we do give a small discount for quarterly and annual payments
to reflect reduced credit card processing charges.

Why don't you offer unlimited bandwidth
and disk space? Top
Because there's no such thing. Bandwidth/data transfer costs
money as does disk space. Think about it - if the "unlimited"
offers were all that they seem, Amazon.com would be hosted on
a cheap hosting account rather than a cluster of dedicated servers!
We believe that "unlimited" hosts are being inherently
dishonest, not a trait that we aspire to.

Do you host Adult sites, warez sites
or sites containing illegal material? Top
No, not under any circumstances. Please see our terms of service
for details of acceptable content and conduct.

What is your policy on unsolicited
email (spam)? Top
Spamming, or the sending of unsolicited email, from an AQHost,
LLC server or using an email address or domain that is maintained
on an AQHost, LLC machine as reference is STRICTLY prohibited.
AQHost, LLC will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes
a violation of this provision. Sites that promote, sell, or
otherwise provide access to spamware products or products
that are solely for the purpose of extraction or sale of email
addresses or which are used to send bulk email are not permitted
on any AQHost, LLC server.

Is my site backed up and how often?
Top
Local back-ups are performed automatically each night. We
also back-up our servers weekly to an off-server location.
Please note that despite these precautions we cannot accept
any liability for loss of client data, and we strongly encourage
you to create and maintain your own back-ups on a regular
basis.

How fast are your connections?
Top
Our servers are located in the 1 Summer Street data center in
Boston, MA (USA). We have our own Cisco switching equipment
which is owned outright. Servers are connected to redundant
Cisco Catalyst 3560 switches configured with HSRP (Hot Standby
Routing Protocol). Each switch is connected to a different Gigabit
Ethernet connection, and each server is connected to both switches.
Thus our network can withstand a provider, router, switch or
NIC failure without an interruption in service.
